Alexei Mota
Alexei Mota is a seasoned healthcare professional with a Doctor of Medicine and an MBA in hospital administration, specializing in internal medicine and palliative care. With over 20 years of experience, he has served as President of a K12 school board in Brazil and owned a home healthcare company. Currently, he is the Director of Worship at Calvary Baptist Church in the U.S. and has been an Elder in Presbyterian Churches in Brazil. As a board member he is dedicated to supporting survivors of sex trafficking.

Tim Gilley
Tim Gilley and his wife, Cheryl, have been married 44 years and are blessed with 2 children and 4 grandchildren. They recently retired after serving churches in Wisconsin and Minnesota as Child Discipleship missionaries with Awana Clubs International. Tim’s background includes engineering experience in the computer and manufacturing industries, and together, he and Cheryl have provided residential care for international foster children and students.
Tim is honored to serve on the board of Rescued & Redeemed, supporting its mission to help survivors of sex trafficking reclaim their lives and find healing.

Dakota Hickok
Dakota Hickok and his wife, Kayla, have been married for 4 years. They welcomed their son Noah in December of 2024. Dakota works in the financial industry, and Kayla works as a Physical Therapist in the Eau Claire area. They have been attending Renew Church for many years and became partners a couple of years ago. Dakota loves bow hunting, weightlifting, and sports.Dakota is honored to serve on the board of Rescued & Redeemed, to help survivors find strength, peace, and healing.

Cynthia Abraham
Cynthia has dedicated 28 years to her passion for animals as a companion and exotics veterinarian. She currently works at the Eau Claire Animal Hospital in Eau Claire, WI, where she incorporates her belief in the human animal bond and the power that exists in that connection.
She routinely volunteers her veterinary services to the local humane society as well as the Animal Cruelty Society in Chicago and the Hooved Animal Humane Society in Woodstock, IL.
Cynthia is a Major in the US Army Reserves, a veteran and the commander of the 719th Medical Detachment Veterinary Services in Ft. Sheridan, IL.

Jon Midthun
Jon has been a resident of the Chippewa Valley for 34 years. He holds a degree in Business Administration from UW Superior and has worked as an account executive in the banking, insurance, and biopharmaceutical industries for major employers like AIG, United Heathcare, Sanofi US and currently, GSK Vaccines. He’s raised two daughters and has owned a home in a growing Altoona neighborhood for 32 years. Jon’s passion for helping the patients he’s served in healthcare, his strong desire to grow in his faith, and his passion for bearing visible fruit in his walk with Christ have all led him to join us at Rescued and Redeemed where he hopes his life experiences can help shape and direct the organization and open doors to further assist those impacted by the devastating fallout of human trafficking.
