How do I know if I've been trafficked?
If one or more of these are true, you may have been or are currently being trafficked
Loss of Control Over Movement or Identification
-
Someone else controls your travel, money, or identification (passport, ID, or driver's license).

You are not allowed to leave or are closely monitored.
-
You have been moved to different locations without explanation.
Signs of Physical, Emotional, or Psychological Abuse
-
Unexplained injuries, bruises, or signs of malnourishment.
-
Fearful, anxious, depressed, or showing signs of PTSD.
-
Avoiding eye contact, unable to speak freely, or appearing disoriented.
Coercion, Threats, or False Promises
-
Being forced or pressured into sexual acts.
-
Threats of harm to you or your loved ones if you try to leave.
-
