*Please note, these donations do not go to survivors. They are sold to a recycling center and given to people in need around the world or processed for other ways they can be reused.
Because of all our generous soft good donations thus far, we have raised over $54,534.40.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who donates to this drive!
How does this fund our mission?
Due to a partnership with Whitehouse and Schapiro, we are able to raise money through gently used donated clothing and soft home goods. Each pound donated equates to a financial donation to our mission.
Each bag of clothing and soft-home goods are stored in storage containers. Roughly every 6-8 weeks all the donations are transferred to a live semi-truck trailer to be transported to a Whitehouse and Schapiro recycling center. This load is weighed and Rescued & Redeemed is paid per pound.

Typically a single semi load will hold approximately 30,000 pounds of donations. With the current market price of textiles this brings in funds that directly goes to paying for our survivor's services.
Whitehouse & Schapiro, LLC is a global textile trading company that’s been a thriving family operation for over 110 years, involved in every facet of the secondhand textile industry.
"Various charities rely on us to purchase leftover donations of secondhand clothing, shoes, belts, purses, and soft home goods to supplement revenue for their community-based programs. We count on them to supply us with secondhand clothing that we, in turn, export to whatever global market needs it most."
