Elaine Geissler

Elaine and her husband Joe, have been married since 2006 and have four grown children. They have lived in Chippe​wa Falls since 1989, and are ministry partners at Calvary Baptist Church in Eau Claire. Currently, Elaine works with children with special needs. She has also volunteered at the juvenile detention center in Eau Claire.  She also has an extensive background in the medical field for 17 years and worked in a facility with abused children. Because of her experience, she feels desperately called to help combat this debilitating issue of trafficking. Elaine loves Jesus and is passionate about the Lord's work. Her soul mission is to help win souls for Christ.

Sali Bluse

Sali and her husband Scott, have been married since 1993. They have two grown children who truly love the Lord and serve Him daily. They have lived in Eau Claire since 2002. Sali is a hairstylist of 36 years and owns and operates her own Salon "Shadz & Co" out of their home. She is active in her church home at Renew and serves on the worship team. Her passion and soul desire is to be the hands and feet of Jesus, wherever the Lord calls her. Her heart is to help combat this crippling disease of sex trafficking and what is known as the fastest-growing crime today. For all who are impacted by this, she is called to share the light of Jesus into every life. "If I can be a part of helping rescue one victim, then I am the one blessed." 


"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28

Jerimiah is a soldier who’s been in the U.S. Army for over 20 years and is currently stationed at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. He’s been involved in Public Relations/Public Affairs for 14 years and enjoys the challenges associated with telling the soldiers story in today’s constantly changing environment. He’s also a junior at Arizona State University with specific interests in researching the positive impact Christianity has had upon the world. Jerimiah has also had some coursework done at Liberty University. He’s a fan of the Christian theologians C.S. Lewis, Francis Schaeffer, and William Lane Craig. Jerimiah holds a certificate of Christian Apologetics from Biola University and is also studying online with St. Petersburg Seminary and Yeshiva at Palm Harbor Florida in Jewish/Christian studies. He’s passionate about telling others about the goodness of the truth of Christ and helping those who are less fortunate. Jerimiah is married and has two children.

Heidi Nelson

Heidi was born and raised in Eau Claire, WI with three older brothers. After graduating high school she attended iMPACT School of Leadership, where along with academic courses she gained experience in various ministry settings, leadership roles, event setup and take-down, volunteer coordination, and so much more. Upon completion of the program, she gained a certificate in Bible & Theology. While working full-time she took courses at CVTC. After graduating in 2020 with an associate's degree in organizational leadership, she has worked as a personal care worker in a group home setting, as a retail associate for a large corporation, as management at a local small business, and as an administrative assistant for an architectural design firm. Currently, she is enjoying growing a business in the Chippewa Valley as the owner of Heidi Nelson Cleaning and Organization. She loves helping her clients feel less stressed and more relaxed in their home environments. She has a loving, energetic, and a slightly stubborn dog named Ryder. Her heart's desire is to love and serve.

Cara Massie

Volunteer Coordinator, Board Member

Cara and her husband Tristan have been married since August 2021. After their wedding, they moved to Eau Claire where they have been living ever since. Cara is originally from Prairie Farm where she was raised and graduated high school. She went to Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in Rice Lake where she earned a degree in Human Resource Management, and is currently is the Human Resource Manager at Hansen Auction Group. Cara and Tristan recently started attending Calvary Baptist Church in Eau Claire where Cara was first introduced to Rescued & Redeemed. She is excited about getting to help and care for people. She has a passionate heart that is eager to get to know Jesus more and make him known to others.

Nathan and his wife Ally have been married since September 2020. They met in college at UW-Eau Claire through a college ministry, and since then have called Eau Claire home. They are active members of Renew Church and enjoy serving in the different ministries God has called them to. Nathan has his bachelor's degree in business finance and runs a financial planning practice. His heart is to be a genuine, generous servant leader in all facets of life.

Dennis Vold

Dennis​ and his wife Doreen have been married since 2011, with one son and three grandchildren. Dennis retired from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections after 20 years of service, and currently attends Renew Church in Eau Claire.


He has assisted in starting up Iglesia "Lirio de los Valles," a new Hispanic Church in Independence which has then moved to Arcadia. Dennis has volunteered with the Good News Jail Ministry and various church ministries along with mission trips. 


"My friends, we beg you to warn anyone who isn’t living right. Encourage anyone who feels left out, help all who are weak, and be patient with everyone. Don’t be hateful to people, just because they are hateful to you. Rather, be good to each other and to everyone else.  Always be joyful and never stop praying. Whatever happens, keep thanking God because of Jesus Christ. This is what God wants you to do."  1 Thessalonians 5:14-18

Jim Mayo

Jim is a retired banker with nearly 50 years of banking experience, most recently serving as President of Security Financial Bank located in Eau Claire and surrounding communities. He continues to serve as a director of the bank. He attends church at and serves as a deacon at Calvary Baptist Church in Eau Claire. He is married to his wife Sue, and has three children and nine grandchildren.
